Level 2 Belgian Style Suit Material Leg Sleeve

The Belgian style leg sleeve is approximately 27″ in height, and fits the decoy’s leg snugly. This close fit around the leg makes it very difficult for the dog to use a shallow grip to pinch out material, and forces the dog to bite fully into the grip. Ensuring that grip includes the leg of the decoy.
The Level 2 Belgian Leg Sleeve provides a more challenging biting surface than the Level 1 Belgian Leg Sleeve, by incorporating an additional layer of dense padding that is quilted under the outer layer of material. However, the overall size of the biting surface remains only slightly larger in diameter than the Level 1 Belgian Leg Sleeve, and is noticeably smaller in diameter than the Level 3 Belgian Leg Sleeve. This allows for a natural progression between the Level 1 and Level 3 leg sleeves by introducing a more challenging biting surface in a similar diameter to what the dog is already comfortable with.
The Level 2 leg sleeves feature the same ladder pattern , high quality Velcro as seen on the Level 3 leg sleeves, for a tenacious hold.

Obviously going from puppy sleeves to level 3 sleeves (or the suit) has worked for a lot of dogs. But having an intermediate step for dogs that need it (e.g. smaller mouth size) could be helpful in keeping unnecessary bad habits from developing. Specifically having the grip suffer from the dog trying to get their mouth around something too big for them.
I got two so the dog can “win” one and I have another close by so I can quickly grab it to frustrate the dog into spitting out the “won” sleeve and get it back focused on me.
